WORCESTER, Mass. — Worcester Mayor Timothy P. Murray joins Matt Abrams and Jeff Brooks, partners of The Abrams Group, Stephan R. Callahan Sr., President of Global Property Development Corporation, A Callahan Company, senior executives of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage and Coldwell Banker New Homes Division, and dozens of Worcester community leaders and citizens for a celebratory reception at The Fremont Lofts, a luxury loft condominium conversion development in the heart of Worcester. Located at 160 Fremont Street, The Fremont Lofts is a $21 million, 97 unit project.

The reception, hosted by Coldwell Banker New Homes, The Abrams Group, and Callahan, Inc., the development companies responsible for The Fremont Lofts project, is being held to celebrate the official completion of construction.

Construction of the project began in September 2004 and is now complete. Final details, such as landscaping, will conclude this March. The building, a former shoe factory, now contains 97 one and two bedroom lofts ranging from 788 to 1,890 square feet of living space. Presently 63 of the units have been sold with the remaining being offered from $169,900 – $339,900.

Pre-construction sales have been brisk and it is anticipated that the remaining units will sell quickly. “The Fremont Lofts offer a number of incredible features at very reasonable prices and presents a rare opportunity for a buyer to own a unique and historic property coupled with the convenience and affordability of condominium living,” said Robin Kelley, Site Director of The Fremont Lofts for Coldwell Banker New Homes.
